RIL-CHEMIE supplies an extensive range of so-called fluo-tracers, fluorescent, highly luminous powders for leak detection, checking and quality assurance in filter systems, filter bags and suction systems.

These leak detection powders are simply added to the ‘dirty’ side of the air and the area on the clean side is examined with a suitable lighting system (usually UV-A radiation or blue light with filter glasses). If the filter is no longer leak-tight, the fluorescent dusts pass through the filter at these imperfections and openings and can be clearly seen. Safe, efficient and cost-effective checking and monitoring of very large and complex filter systems can be carried out quickly and easily.

These tracer powders are available in different grain sizes and in the colors yellow, green, blue, orange, red pink and white, which allows a perfect match to the filter material.
